After voting is complete, every polling location carefully checks to make sure we don’t have more ballots cast than people who voted.
If there are, we have rigorous auditing procedures to find the issue and ensure errors or fraud do not impact the election results.

Some people like a balanced budget. We liked balanced ballots! At the end of the night, we count and confirm that the number the ballots cast equals the number of people who voted.
